OYO/OSUN AREA COMMAND HOSTS CGC BA ADENIYI FOOTBALL TOURNAMENT
The Oyo/Osun Area Command of the Nigeria Customs Service has officially commenced the CGC BA Adeniyi Football Tournament, which kicked off on Friday, 1st May 2026, at the Polytechnic of Ibadan Football Field.
The tournament, which features participation from sister security agencies within Oyo State, is aimed at promoting inter-agency collaboration, unity, and physical fitness among personnel.
The opening match of the tournament was played between the Nigeria Customs Service Football Club and the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) Football Club. The keenly contested encounter ended in a goalless draw (0–0), setting a competitive tone for subsequent matches in the tournament.
The CGC BA Adeniyi Football Tournament is scheduled to run from 1st May to 19th May 2026, during which various participating teams will compete for honors in the spirit of sportsmanship and camaraderie.
