The entire officers and men of the Tin Can Island Customs Command salute our indefatigable Comptroller General of the Nigeria Customs Service (NCS), Bashir Adewale Adeniyi, MFR, PhD, on the his new academic feat. The Comptroller General who doubles as Chairman of the World Customs
Organization (WCO) Council, is one of the PhD graduands in leadership and Security Studies at the 9th Convocation ceremony of the Federal University, Lokoja , being held today , Saturday, October 18, 2025.
We are very happy to associate and work under the Comptroller General whose leadership and administrative skills have turned around the fortunes of the Service, in terms of higher revenue profile, intelligence-driven anti-smuggling operations, trade facilitation, digitization and enhanced Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR).
The Almighty God shall take you higher in the years ahead.
