By Timothy Paul Okorocha
Brand new Controller of the Federal Operations Unit ( FOU) Zone A, Ikeja, Comptroller MS Shuaibu has asked for support and co-operation from the officers and men at the Unit so that they can achieve the mandate given to him by the Comptroller General of the Service.
While taking over from erstwhile Head of the Unit, he told the officers that they have an opportunity as given to them by the Comptroller General to make a difference and contribute their own quota towards prosecuting the war against smuggling.

‘I am delighted by the opportunity given to us by the Almighty Allah and the Comptroller General to be here, and I pray that God will guide us through our tenure’
He told the former Unit controller that ‘I am taking over but I will be calling you from time to time to learn from your wealth of experience’. He challenged the officers of the enormous work ahead.
‘What do we do henceforth, the workload ahead needs our co-operation and support’
The former controller, Compt Oladeji said he had no doubt that his successor is ably qualified to move the Unit to greater heights.
He also thanked the Comptroller General as well as the officers for the support they gave him in the last one year. He said he would return to Abuja to take up his new responsibilities.

The new Controller has a masters degree in environmental studies and also undertaking his doctoral degree. He hails from Lafia, in Nassarawa state.
Also, the former controller of the Federal operations Unit, zone B, earlier today handed over to Comptroller Alkali in a well attended function in kaduna.
