CONGRATULATIONS TO CG
Following the six months tenure extension granted the Customs Comptroller General, Bashir Adewale Adeniyi, PhD, MFR, by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, the entire workforce has been thrown into jubilation.
While congratulating the Comptroller General, the ACG ( HQ) Mohammed S.Shuaibu described the development as ‘well placed’
He said the CG’s reforms have placed the service as an agency that has evolved international best practices in all its operations.
He deposed that Adeniyi’s humility, professionalism, and the positive marks he has made in all the mandates given to him remain unprecedented.
Shuaibu pointed to the huge revenue of the service, trade facilitation, anti-smuggling operations, capacity building as well as Corporate social responsibility (CSR) as landmark projects that stand the Comptroller General out.
He felicitated with his Boss for making the agency and Nigerians as a whole proud through his patriotic service to the nation, while appreciating the President for the confidence reposed in the Comptroller General.
