A GLIMPSE OF THE DEPUTY COMPTROLLERS WHO HAVE BECOME THE ARROWHEADS OF THE NEW CUSTOMS TRANSITION

Customs is presently in an ecstastic mood, with young officers newly appointed to mount the saddle of very sensitive area commands nationwide.
This followed the mass retirement yesterday of Assistant Comptrollers General and Comptrollers who have hit the 35 year service or 60 years of age.
It is indeed a new dawn as officers celebrate what looks like the beginning of the real transition where mostly the 2009 officers will mostly be in charge.
Their celebration knows no bounds as more appointments are even expected in the weeks ahead to reposition the service in preparation for the post Adeniyi days.
An officer just sent a strong worded congratulatory message to his 16 colleagues who benefited from the redeployment.
