The Tincan Island Command of the Nigeria Customs Service has announced a significant revenue milestone, generating ₦1.56 trillion as of December 23, 2025.
This impressive feat was disclosed by the Comptroller of the command, Mr. Frank Onyeka, during a press briefing on Tuesday.
According to Comptroller Onyeka, the huge revenue achievement exceeds the command’s target of over ₦1 trillion.

He attributed the success to the implementation of the B’Odogwu Trade modernization compliance management system and the support of stakeholders.
The command’s core mandate of revenue generation, national security, and efficiency drive has also contributed to the remarkable performance.
The Comptroller highlighted that bulk cargo, general merchandise, and the importation of used vehicles were significant contributors to the revenue collection.
He also noted that multiple and unnecessary alerts have been streamlined to promote efficiency in the command. This development underscores the command’s commitment to improving its operations and enhancing revenue generation.

The achievement is a testament to the command’s efforts to enhance revenue collection and trade facilitation, according to Seaflypo News.
