OUR OWN JOY TIES THE NUPTIAL KNOT
It was a moment of great delight this morning at the Ikeja marriage Registry, in Ikeja District, where our beloved daughter, and Deputy Secretary General of Ogwuama Development Union, Lagos, Joy Lechi Nkemdirim exchanged marriage vows with her husband-Godwin Okechukwu Iheoma.
The marriage ceremony presided over by the Registrar of the Ikeja marriage Registry, Mrs Seyi Onibudu who charged more than 50 newly wedded couples at the function to make love for each other the cornerstone of their relationship, counseled that when things seem not to be moving in the right direction, they should resort to prayers to the most High for solutions.
The three hour event held at the legislative chambers of the local government attracted dignitaries from far and wide , as drum beaters and paparazzi (photographers) made brisk business with guests dashing them money while photographers clicked away with fortunes. With the marriage getting the required legal teeth, our cherished sister will henceforth, be addressed as Mrs Joy Lechi Iheoma.
She expressed thanks to God for making the day come true. Yours sincerely represented the bride’s parents as well as the Ogwuama kingdom. Wishing our dear sister a happy and fulfilled married life.
