

COMPT TAKO IN CRUCIAL MEETING WITH ADAMAWA STATE POLICE COMMISSIONER; SAYS SYNERGY CRUCIAL TO COMBATING SMUGGLING


The customs Area controller of Adamawa/Taraba command, Compt Muhammed Aminu Tako has said that collaboration amongst security agencies is a sine qua non to nipping smuggling and other types of criminal activities along the nation’s border corridors.
In his speech while paying a courtesy visit to the Adamawa state police commissioner today, he deposed that he will work tirelessly to stamp out illicit trade in that region.


The customs and police chiefs reaffirmed their willingness in the area of intelligence sharing, anti-smuggling and general security challenges. They expressed confidence in continued partnership for effective service delivery.

Since the new customs boss was appointed few weeks ago, he has continued to pay courtesy visits to relevant government agencies to get their support and collaboration towards executing his mandates in Adamawa and Taraba axis.
